70th Inauguration of the academic year

Nine hundred thirty students have already started classes for the first year in Medical University of Gdańsk. The official inauguration of the academic year 2015/2016 in MUG will take place at 10 am at the prof. Narkiewicz Auditorium Primum on 8th October 2015. During the ceremony, prof. Grzegorz Węgrzyn will deliver an inaugural lecture “Bacteriophages 100 years of research on “good” and “bad” viruses”.

The Inauguration will be proceeded by a Mass on October 4th at 7 pm at the Matka Boska Częstochowska church located at Skłodowska-Curie 3B street. Earlier, on 1st October 2015 at 8 am at the Oliwa Cathedral, Archbishop Leszek Sławoj Głódź will celebrate Mass for the intentions employees and students of all universities of Pomerania.

An annual staff integration party will be held at the Wróblówka lodge on October 9th 2015.
