“Kaszka dla Malgaszka” (“Oatmeal for the Malagasy child”) is a project started two years ago by MUG alum Daniel Kasprowicz. Before setting off to Mampikony (Madagascar) in 2014 to volunteer, Daniel organized a nation-wide effort to collect basic medication, medical supplies and nutritional supplements.
In 3 months Daniel Kasprowicz is returning to Mampikony and we strongly encourage everyone to participate in the project. This year we are helping Daniel collect non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs and other analgesics, allergy medication, antibiotic creams, eye drops, anti-diarrhea medication (including activated charcoal), nutritional items (synbiotics/probiotics, protein and carbohydrate supplements, vitamin and mineral supplements, electrolyte replacement powders) and sterile wound dressings.
You are welcome to drop off the collected items to the office of Section for Promotion and Information at the Rectorate (room 2) between 8:00 and 15:00. We accept donations until the end of October. The children of Madagascar appreciate every single item you donate.
