Prime Minister of Poland Awards for the year 2014

Prof. Roman Kaliszan, head of the MUG Department of Biopharmacy and Pharmacodynamics, received one of six Prime Minister of Poland Awards for the year 2014. Among the other recipients were: prof. Janusz Bujnicki, prof. Lech Gardocki, prof. Zofia Mitosek, prof. Małgorzata Skorupa i prof. Jerzy Zabczyk.

On February 9th 2015, Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz awarded 44 exceptional researchers and 2 research teams for their outstanding achievements in science, technology, arts as well as for exceptional doctoral and habilis dissertations.

-This award proves that our work is the engine of progress. I’m glad that Poland has such a favorable atmosphere for research. The infrastructure and equipment of our universities and research institutes allows young researchers to complete ambitious projects and collaborate with international research teams – commented prof. Kaliszan during his speech at the award ceremony.
