MUG students at World Championships

MUG students Marta Stachowicz (PhD programme, Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Bromatology) and Szymon Szkoda (V year of medicine) and multiple medalists at the National Academic Championships participated at the World Championships in Sport Aerobics, Fitness and Hip-Hop. The championships took place on October 22nd-25th 2014 in Prague. Overall, 975 participants from 15 countries competed. The MUG students from the team trained by coach Aneta Korewo MSc, competed in the solo and mixed pair categories. Marta Stachowicz, the current National Academic Champion ranked 18th in the solo category.

Whereas the pair Stachowicz & Szkoda competed intensely and reached the finals where they ranked 6th in the world. This is the highest achievement of MUG students at world championships.
