V Regional Beach Volleyball Championships for Doctors

The fifth edition of the Pomorskie Region Beach Volleyball Championships for Doctors will take place on August 24th 2014 at the beach in Gdańsk-Brzeźno. The tournament will begin at 10:30 at the courts located on the beach next to the Gdańsk-Brzeźno pier. The event is sponsored by the Regional Medical Chamber in Gdańsk.

All doctors, dentists and 6th year medical students from all of Poland are invited to compete in pairs (men, women, and mixed pairs). Regulations allow pairs consisting of one doctor and a member of the closest family, regardless of age.

The tournament will be conducted under the supervision of the Pomorskie Voivodeship Volleyball Federation, in accordance with the beach volleyball regulations of the Polish Volleyball Federation and the tournament regulations. Competitors will be divided into two groups: “Open” and “Beginners.” Every pair will play at least two matches.

Every competitor will receive beverages and a meal, whereas the winners will receive medals, trophies and souvenirs.
