The recruitment of students and PhD candidates for the Biotechnology Summer School has begun. It is organized by the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology UG-MUG and will take place on September 2nd-7th 2014. It is the 10th edition of this meeting at which participants will have a chance to learn from top scientists about model organisms such as fungi (Ustilago maydis), plants (Arabidopsis thaliana), fish (Danio reno) and mice (Mus musculus) as well issues surrounding GMO and the society’s perception of biotechnology. All BSS courses are taught in English. Recruitment will last until June 15th. Its rules and on-line application are available at: www.bss.ug.edu.pl.
