MUG students became AHA instructors

Five MUG students, members of the Emergency Medicine Student Scientific Club, earned the CPR instructor certification of the American Heart Association (AHA). The instructor training took place on April 22-23 2014 under the supervision of Katarzyna Ostręga, the AHA training director. The students showed their knowledge, involvement and teaching skills. They are: Kinga Tatara, Piotr Domaracki, Maciej Kaczor, Janusz Michałowski and Jakub Wilczyński.

The training was organized by the MUG Department of Emergency Medicine with the support of Vice-Rector for Education Prof. Leszek Bieniaszewski and the MUG College of Continuing Education. The AHA instructor course in Gdańsk was the first such course to take place at a medical university in Poland.
