Memorable concert at the Gdańsk Academy of Music

Nearly 500 listeners were in the audience at the MUG New Year Concert on February 22nd at the Concert Hall of the Gdańsk Academy of Music. The listeners were welcomed by prof. Tomasz Bączek (MUG Vice-Rector for Science) and Sylwia Holeksa (GAM Offie of Promotion). The 6th edition of this concert featured performances by the students of the Faculty of Vocals and Acting programme of the Academy, specializing in musicals. Their repertoire featured 25 pieces from musicals such as “Man of La Mancha,” “Wicked,” “Cabaret,” “The Lion King,” “Jekyll & Hyde,” “Grease” and “Sister Act.” Among the performers were Arkadiusz Borżdyński, Aleksandra Dolna, Karol Drozd, Mateusz Dzierżawski, Agata Kujawa, Agata Malisz, Agnieszka Tylutki, Jakub Werel i Dragomir Wojtyłko. The performers were taught by Andrzej Nanowski, whereas Tatiana Różankiewicz was in charge of choreography.
