"The Beauty of Women" exhibition at the Klub Bunkier

The Student Scientific Club at the MUG Department of Oncological Surgery, the Academic Oncology Society and the Klubogaleria Bunkier invite everyone to the exhibition “The Beauty of Women” organized as part of the breast cancer prevention project “Touch the Breast” (“Dotknij Piersi”). The exhibition will open on March 2nd 2014 at 17:00 at the Klubogaleria Bunkier in Gdańsk and will last until April 4th.

The exhibition is focused on the photographic work of Katarzyna Piwecka and Anna Bereda, showing women who won the difficult and uneven battle against breast cancer. Their message is that neoplasms of the breast are not death sentences and the chances of cure are greatest with early diagnosis. Organizers aim to encourage women to regularly undergo breast cancer screening tests and to self-examine their breasts.
