Join the PINK LIPS project

The European Cervical Cancer Prevention Week is underway right now, with this year’s edition during January 19th-25th. In order to encourage women to participate in regular screening tests (cervical cytology) and to break the taboo regarding neoplastic disease the MUG students associated at the Gdańsk branch of IFMSA-Poland have started the PINK LIPS Project. As part of the project, as a sign of solidarity with women fighting cervical cancer by promoting the use pink lipsitck.

The PINK LIPS Project is not just a symbol but a sign of respect and admiration to all women who battle neoplastic disease. It also demonstrates awareness regarding the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer.

In order to join the pink society of PINK LIPS and to support the project all you need to do is put on pink lipstick, take a picture of yourself and send it to pinklipsproject@gmail.com
