They shared their heart

Hundreds of physical examinations, increased awareness about the heart disease risk factors and gifts for the needy – this summarizes what happened on Saturday December 14th 2013 at the largest shopping centers of Gdańsk. The MUG nursing students organized the event “Share Your Heart for Christmas” (“Podziel się sercem na Święta”) during which they collected school supplies, toys and sweets for children. The most popular part of the event was the total cholesterol test. Visitors were also able to test their blood glucose levels and Body Mass Index. Those who participated, received heart-shaped stickers which showed their goodwill and encouraged others to share their hearts for Christmas.
