UG & MUG biotechnology PhD candidate is an ASM Young Ambassador

Joanna Karczewska-Golec MSc, from the Department of Molecular Bacteriology at the UG and MUG Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology was chosen by the American Society for Microbiology as the Young Ambassador to Poland.

Only 30 Young Ambassadors from countries all over the world were chosen from more than 500 applicants during a multiphase recruitment process. The Ambassadors were chosen based on their scientific and organizational achievements as well as project designs in which they described in detail what they would achieve as ASM Young Ambassadors in their home countries.
