Public health specialists met in Gdańsk

On September 9th 2013, the representatives of the strongest Polish academic centres met at the MUG to discuss the role of public health professionals in Poland. The meeting was under the patronage of ASPHER (Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region). Among the participants were Małgorzata Marcińska (Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy), staff of the Sanitary Inspectorate and the specialists from the Jagiellonian University (Kraków), Medical Centre for Postgraduate Education (Warszawa), Poznań University of Medical Science and the Medical University of Warsaw. This meeting was part of the work on the “WHO – Health 2020” strategy to prepare healthcare systems for the upcoming challenges.
