The practical role of the humanist ideas in medicine, the questions of philosophical perspectives and justifications in bioethical reflections or the ethical dilemmas in the current economics of healthcare are just some of the topics of the national conference “Ethics in medicine – yesterday and today. Twentieth anniversary of prof. Tadeusz Kielanowski’s death.” The conference will take place on September 26-28th 2013 and is organized by the MUG Department of History, Philosophy of Medical Sciences and Ethics under the honorary patronage of the MUG Rector, Minister of Health, President of Gdańsk and the Chairman of the Polish Chamber of Physicians and Dentists.
