Anna Anchimiuk, student of the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology of the UG-MUG is among the winners of the “Diamond Grant” program and received funding for her project “Analysis of the expression of gene coding for protein phosphatase PrpE Bacillus subtilis”. This program has been announced by prof. Barbara Kudrycka in order to help the exceptional students start their scientific careers sooner. The projects entered in the program may be conducted by Bachelor of Science graduates or Master of Science students after their 3rd year of studies. Only submissions from universities with high quality of research and management are considered. The grant money may be used to cover costs of research as well as salary of at least 2500PLN for the young researcher. This program is part of the science and higher learning reform that aims at supporting the careers of the new generation of scientists.
