MUG Student Representatives have been chosen

On May 8th 2013, prof. Marcin Gruchała, the MUG Vice-Rector for Students’ Affairs, has officially concluded the university stage of the regional Red Rose Award competition. He presented letters of congratulations to the nominees and winners in the categories of best student and best scientific club.

“The award statuette symbolizes beauty, excellence and the rich traditions of the academic society of the Pomorskie region and for over 50 years is presented to the most exceptional students”, said Vice-Rector Gruchała. “Representing the University in this competition is an honor and recognition of years-long work”.

Alicja Góralczyk, V year of medicine will represent the MUG in the best student category. The nominees were:

• Natasza Gilis-Siek, VI year of medicine
• Monika Luboch, VI year of medicine
• Klaudia Grabowską, III year of medicine
• Krzesimir Ciura, V year of pharmacy
• Magdalena Zienkiewicz, IV year of pharmacy

The winner in the best scientific club category was the Student Scientific Club at the MUG Department of Oncologic Surgery. The nominees were:

• Student Scientific Club at the MUG Department of Preventive Medicine and Didactics
• Student Scientific Club at the MUG 1st Department of Cardiology
• Student Scientific Club at the MUG Department of Thoracic Surgery
• Student Scientific Club at the MUG Department of Dermatology
