Graduation ceremony of the medical – ED studies alumni of 2023 class

One hundred and thirteen graduates of medical – ED studies from 2017-2023 class received their diplomas. The event was held on 30th of June 2023 at the Polish Baltic F. Chopin Philharmonic in Gdańsk. The ceremony has been attended by: MUG’s Vice-Rector for the Quality of Teaching Dr. Habil. Agnieszka Zimmermann, Assoc. Prof., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Radosław Owczuk, Deputy Deans of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Aida Kusiak, Dr. Habil. Maria Bieniaszewska, Prof. Paweł Zagożdżon, Dr. Habil. Kamil Chwojnicki, as well as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Piotr Wąż and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Dr. Habil. Bartosz Wielgomas, Assoc. Prof.

Among invited guests were also: Prof. Maria Dudziak – Head of the Division of Cardiac Diagnostics, Prof. Michał Żmijewski from the Department of Histology, Dr. Habil. Sławomir Wójcik – Head of the University Admissions Office, Ewa Siewierska-Chomeniuk, D.D.S., member of the Presidium of the District Medical Council in Gdańsk, Jacek Kaczmarek, Ph.D., representative of MUG Alumni Association, Katarzyna Rückemann-Dziurdzińska, Ph.D., from the Division of Pathology and Experimental Rheumatology, supervisor of 3rd year medical – ED students and Janusz Springer, M.D. from the Division of Preventive Medicine & Education.

Occasional speeches were given by: Vice-Rector Prof. Agnieszka Zimmermann, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Radosław Owczuk, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Dr. Habil. Kamil Chwojnicki, Ewa Siewierska-Chomeniuk, D.D.S., Jacek Kaczmarek, Ph.D. and Janusz Springer, M.D., as well as alumni representatives Madeleine Kucharski, M.D., Fanny Sunesson, M.D. and M. Nader Albin Abo Njab, M.D. After taking the oath, the graduates received their diplomas from the Vice-Rector for the Quality of Teaching, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.
