A new rector has been elected

Prof. Marcin Gruchała, M.D., Ph.D., head of the 1st Chair & Clinic of Cardiology, the current Vice-Rector for Students’ Affairs has been elected as the new Rector of the Medical University of Gdańsk. In the second round overtook of prof. Jacek Bigda, Head of the Office of Strategy and International Cooperation 10 votes. The new Rector will begin to take office September 1st.
