Magical pumpkins in the Moominvalley

The Department of Foreign Languages organized a project called „Magical pumpkins in the Moominvalley” for the little patients from the Clinic of Nephrology, Cardiology and Congential Heart Defects at Medical University. During the project children had a chance to learn new words in English connected with Autumn and Halloween traditions as well as prepare pictures connected with Moomins for a small hospital exhibition.

Beata Cygan, the Head of the Department, invited Mr Adam Niedorezo who created a wonderful collection of pictures and portraits. Materials were prepared by Anna Kuciejczyk. Project coordinators: Magda Warzocha and Radosław Czernych with the support of Barbara Mrozik. Children enjoyed the project a lot as they could spend one afternoon in the world of magic.
