The results of "Scapula Aurea" 2015 revealed

After 8 years of break, the students of our University participated in the Intercollegiate Competition of Anatomical Knowledge “Scapula Aurea”. This year’s XXX edition of the Competition was held in Bydgoszcz. Our representatives joined representatives from 9 other medical schools. For the first time in the history of the competition, in addition to representation of students from first year MD programme (Polish Division), students from first year MD programme (English Division) participated in the competition. Students were tutored by Jan Spodnik, MD, PhD. It was a very successful return to the competition, as representatives of the MUG won as many as four awards. In the category of English-speaking students Rani Gill won a 2nd place, while in the category of Polish-speaking students Patricia Pyra won a 3rd place. In the team category ED team (Rani Gill, Aamir Hasan, Mousa Alnakhli, Abdullah Almahroos) won a 2nd place, while PL Team (Patrycja Pyra, Aleksandra Sugier, Zofia Lasocka and Aleksandra Kuszczak) – won a 3rd place. The Anatomy Student Scientific Club associated with Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology actively participated in practical preparation of students.
