MUG students nominated for the Czerwona Róża Award

The MUG Committee for the Czerwona Róża Award, led by prof. Marcin Gruchała (Vice-Rector for Student Affairs), announced the candidates for the final stage of the Czerwona Róża (Red Rose) Award contest.

Gabrielle Karpinsky, VI year English Division medical student, won the nomination in the Best Student category. Whereas the English Division Pediatric Oncology Scientific Circle was nominated for the Best Student Scientific Circle.

The Czerwona Róża contest is organized by the Stowarzyszenie Czerwonej Róży (Red Rose Society) for over 50 years. The award itself is a statuete that symbolizes beauty, perfection and rich traditions of the scientific community in the Pomorskie region. The award highlights the work of the most exceptional students.

Among the MUG nominees were:

  • Mikołaj Frankiewicz, VI year medical student
  • Alicja Genc, VI year medical student
  • Marta Pilacka, I year masters in public health student

and:

  • Student Scientific Club at the 1st Department of Cardiology
  • Student Scientific Club “Paramedic” at the Department of Emergency Medicine
  • Student Scientific Club at the DEpartment of Oncologic Surgery
