Received their diplomas

Eighty-two graduates of the MUG English Division medial program received their diplomas on June 22nd at the Polish Baltic Philharmonic. Among the participants were prof. Janusz Moryś (MUG Rector), dr hab. Marcin Gruchała (Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, dr hab. Maria Dudziak (Dean of the Faculty of Medicine), prof. Maria Alicja Dębska-Ślizień and dr hab. Michał Żmijewski (both Deputy Deana of English Division). There was no shortage of traditional guests such as dr. Tomasz Gorczyński (Vice-Chairman of the Regional Medical Chamber in Gdańsk), prof. Wiesław Makarewicz (Vice-Chairman of the Alumni Association), Tadeusz Iwanowski (Honorary Consul General of Sweden in Gdańsk) and Michał Rzeszewicz (Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Norway in Gdynia).

Speeches were delivered by prof. Marcin Gruchała, prof. Maria Dudziak, prof. Maria Alicja Dębska-Ślizień, dr Tomasz Gorczyński, prof. Wiesław Makarewicz, dr hab. Ewa Bień (Supervisor of the English Division Pediatric Oncology Scientific Circle at the Department of Pediatrics, Hematology and Oncology), Anuruddha Jayaratne (Chairman of the ED Student Council) as well as Elmir Farhoudfar and Aziz Areeb (both graduates of the Class of 2015). After stating the Hippocratic Oath, the graduates received their diplomas from the MUG Recotr and Dean of Faculty of Medicine.
